OUR STORY

A LOOK INTO THE PURPOSE, PASSION, AND LIVED EXPERIENCE THAT INSPIRED OFF THE BENCH.

"As a former Division II college athlete, I experienced firsthand the challenges many athletes face but rarely know how to navigate. Limited access to information, unclear communication, and a lack of guidance beyond the field of play were common realities. While my athletic journey did not unfold the way I once envisioned, it shaped something far more important. It taught me how to use my voice.

That desire for advocacy carried me from college athletics to law school, where my passion for transparency, education, and athlete support took shape. What once felt like obstacles became preparation. When Name, Image, and Likeness laws were introduced in 2021, it became clear that while Division I programs were positioned to benefit, many athletes across Division II, Division III, NAIA, and high school levels were being left behind. This was not due to a lack of talent, but a lack of access.

OFF THE BENCH was created to change that.

We exist to help athletes step confidently into the NIL space by providing education, guidance, and strategic support rooted in clarity and integrity. Opportunity in college athletics should not be limited by division, visibility, or access to information. Every athlete has a platform, and every athlete deserves the knowledge to steward it well.

OFF THE BENCH serves athletes, families, and institutions who believe NIL can be a win for everyone when approached with purpose, preparation, and confidence.

Here, we live by the motto Go. Be. Do. because becoming who you are meant to be requires movement, purpose, and courage."
